Ideal for accommodating extra guests on board: a lightweight ceiling bed. Space and weight are significant challenges on boats and ships. That is why we have developed a lightweight single bed that can be lowered from the ceiling.
An inventive design and use of lightweight materials make manual operation of the ceiling bed easy. For added convenience, an electrically powered version of the ceiling bed is also available.
Bunk bed
The bed is attached to the ceiling with lifting points and steel cables, so it is invisible when not in use. The ceiling bed is always installed above another bed, making it simple to lower into the correct position when needed. Once in place, the extra bunk bed is securely fixed to the wall. The hoisting cables are then neatly stowed away in the ceiling, completely out of sight.
The bed measures 80 x 200 cm. The frame is made from 316 stainless steel, and the finish is aluminium polished to a high gloss. It is also possible for these visible sections to be sprayed in a colour of your choice.

Our ceiling bed is usually custom-made. We would be delighted to explain how our technology works. If, afterwards, you are impressed by the design, we will work with you to tailor the bed to your exact requirements. We will create a concept and draw up a quote and discuss these with you. Once the design is finalised, we will proceed with construction.
